Liz Pinto—I have lived in the Detroit area my whole life and have enjoyed raising a family here. After marrying my high-school sweetheart, we had a daughter and a son. My daughter teaches 5th grade in Troy, her husband is a 4th grade teacher in Birmingham, and they have a 7-month old baby-my first grandchild. My son left the state for better weather – San Diego. For years I helped my in-laws as they went through the aging process, from home, to assisted living, to the nursing home. I felt privileged to have had the opportunity to help them, as my parents died quite young. This is definitely the most fulfilling and satisfying job I have ever had.
Frank Gordon—I have lived in Bloomfield Hills for 25 years. I went to high school in Battle Creek and then graduated from Michigan State University. I have been married for 35 years, and raised two sons. I have been helping my wife take care of her mom for the last 9 years as she has moved from her large Ohio home, to a home near us, through hip replacements, to assisted living, even taking mom with us on a move to Florida and then back to Michigan. All of this has been a life- lesson of how rewarding, as well as challenging, it is to care for a loved family member. Being able to do this with others is just as rewarding.
We both worked in corporate executive positions for a total of more than 60 years. But having experienced being members of the "Sandwich Generation," and helping our parents through their difficult years, we decided this is the type of business that we wanted to be part of. And our clients get our personal care and attention, as we do not farm out work to others. We offer senior care and more for that special one-on-one companionship and support.
We provide our services in Oakland and Western Macomb County, Michigan
